MEET THE MAKERS

Can you reveal the essence of a place by documenting the creative spark of its residents?

For National Geographic and Visit California we take a trip through California to Meet the Makers of the Golden State; taking the viewer into the world of local makers: brewers, farmers & shapers. We reveal each area’s unique character, through local people, activities, crafts and cuisines.

From Santa Rosa to Sacramento and San Luis Obispo, TVN produced 3 films (60 and 30 second versions) to be shown on National Geographic online and on TV.

This project was shot over a 10 day period, with National Geographic Explorer and Photographer Ben Horton as our host.
